Great facilities, lovely host, cosy rooms and a beautiful place. The location was fab and good parking. The sitting areas were stunning. Enjoyed my stay and will be back!

We stayed here with our 2 kids and the family room was perfect for us. The hostel is very well equipped and tidy. We cooked and ate in the kitchen and enjoyed staying in the living room in front of the fireplace. We felt at home. Very good value for money.

We did not stay long (only one night), but it was a good experience to be there, in the middle of a small wood. The place is very quiet and cosy. I would recommend it to anyone doing a road trip in Co. Kerry.

This hostel felt like home, the host was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the sitting room very much. The building is quite quirky which only added to the charm. Convenient from the Kerry Way.

I stayed here for four nights while doing some hill walking in the area. It is about 7k out of Kenmare along a narrow road, so can be a little tricky to locate. However this adds to the charm of the hostel. It's situated in it's own grounds …

We had a fabulous stay! Highly recommend this place as it's so cosy and friendly. The house is in the middle of the woods and very quiet which gives it a very nice atmosphere! Towels are provided, kitchen is at disposal so you just need to bring your own food and the common rooms are great places to chill (by the fireplace, the garden view or by playing some board games)

We found the Hostel on the internet and we stayed for four nights. It’s such a lovely place with lots of Details. We spend much time at the fireplace. Everything was tip top. !!! :)

Perfect stay for a resting day. They only accept cash and there is no food! Very close to the Kerry Way and about 14k away from Kenmare. I spontaneously needed an accommodation and bumped into the Hostel at 9pm. There was only another couple and me. I had the 4-dorm bed for myself. A very clean and cozy place. There is a living room with many comfy chairs a kitchen with fridge and an extra dining room. The Host Thorsten was very friendly. It was perfect for me to have a chill evening.
